Lost connection with smart tv

Since the WD outage last week (oct 1 2021) my Samsung smart tv does not recognize My Cloud Home device.

iv tried to reset everything but nothing works. it worked fine before and i can still access everything on pc and mobile apps. did i reset something or change any settings? i dont think so please note this is a my cloud HOME there is no dashboard to check or change settings…

thanks but that does not solve the underlying problem.

That KD article focuses on using Plex, previously I had my Cloud Home connected to smart TV and it was plug and play, I assume it used Twonky (but I didn’t ask or know because it worked)

I assume (and as always WD refuses to comment or help) WD has changed the firmware so that Twonky no longer works…and they will not allow us to downgrade (or upgrade for that matter) manually. So even if it worked before, it doesnt work now nor into the future…
