Loss of information

Dear:

I have a WDmyCloud 3T. Through the control panel WD, I rename the folder that brings default name “SmartWare”. While changing, gave an error: “Wrong File Sharing Function (400099)”. After that, the folder name change but I could not access the information inside.
Unfortunately I have very important files there and I need to retrieve it.

Can anyone help me solve this problem?

Hello,

You should be able to recover the files from the computer unless you have erased them. You can also try a reset and/or power cycle on the My Cloud.
