I bought a new PC and downloaded the drivers for My Passport to the new PC. I removed My Passport from my old PC and plugged in to my new PC. The files do not appear but they are there when I plug My Passport back into the old PC. What am I doing wrong?

It is because of your OS in the new laptop, try to check the option of hidden files
