Logitech media Server or SqueezeServer on MyCloud

Hi,

I am just about to find a replacement for my old Buffalo linkstation, and I was looking at the MyCloud device. 

my main requirement is being able to run LMS or Squeezeserver on the drive so I can still use my Logitech kit.

I have seen links for installing onto a My Book device, by enabling SSH and manually installing, which is fine by me - would this be possible to do on the MyCloud device also?

I was thinking along the lines of the instructions posted here:

From reading some reviews across the tech world, it seems that under the hood the MyBook and MyCloud are similar and that this should work, I just want to be sure before I go buy one.
