When I fire up my MacBook Pro (El Capitan 10.11.6 (15G1004)), I’m getting a log in screen asking to log into MBL 1TB as a Guest or Registered user. The default user is Admin. When I enter the Admin (owner) password it won’t accept it. Any ideas as to why this is?
It’s also saying that the IP address has changed.
Guest is used for Public shares. Registered User for Private shares.
If some credentials are not accepted I’d recommend removing the password and creating a new one.
Any help on this? I have resolved the password issue but it won’t connect to the MBL via the login prompt that appears on start upand get a message “There was a problem connecting to the server …” (may not exist or is unavailable).
The weird thing is that I can access the drive through Finder and also through mybooklive.local However, the login prompt keeps appearing which is really annoying.
