Login as user administrator possible?

Hi,

how can I login to this NAS as user “administrator”?

Some Windows workstation have the user administrator but WdMyCloudEx2 refuses to login or to add a user administrator.

Welcome to the Community.

The first (Default) user is actually the Administrator.

I know that.

But I need a login as “administrator” from Windows, the WDMyCloudEx2 does not allow me to create a user with this name, this is my problem.

The user “admin” is of course accepted but this is not the default Windows administrator name.

So all PCs with user “administrator” cannot login in the NAS.

CIFS: Authentication for user [Administrator] has FAILED.

Maybe you should try contacting WD’s Technical Support about this. You can do so either by phone or email.
