Locking the drive (without disconnecting / unplugging)

Hi,

Is it possible to lock drive without disconnecting it? We have provision of manually unlocking the drive. I am wondering if there is something similar for locking the drive as well.

The drive should get locked as well when you turn off, restart or log out of your computer.
