Hi there, I was transferring some files when my passport disconnected from my laptop, when I plugged it back in it was lost from my devices, so I rebooted and again it wasn’t there, neither was the log in page, so I open the WD software and it said the device was locked. To unlock I had to erase everything. Seeing as I had nothing that wasn’t backed up elsewhere I decided to erase but it keeps saying error on erase, I have tried on other pc’s and even though the drivers download the software doesn’t. I have even tried using Windows Data Lifeguard Diagnostics but that keeps failing saying too corrupt ???
Forgot to mention that not once did it ever give me chance to log back in, it instantly locked me out.
