Locked desktop app

4TB My Cloud. I keep getting the following message “Your My Cloud Desktop app is currently locked” How do I unlock this app?

@CNTRLRDAVE Still doesn’t say what you have. I have two WD MY CLOUDS, a 1st and a 2nd generation. The Desktop app that use to work with them no longer works.

I have a 4TB external hard drive. Not sure if it’s 1st or 2nd generation but have had it for a while.

My problem may be with the desktop app as well. What is the work around for that?

I use file explorer and mycloud.com.
