Local use only an option? Internet Data Cap

I’m wanting to enter the world of NAS, and found the WD My cloud seeming to be perfect size and price. My problem is, I only have 30 gigs of internet data a month, so I would really want this to use zero bandwidth. Is that possible? I would only use it for my local network. Thanks in advance.

Sure, just turn off the cloud features.

What JAC70 means is that on the local network, the NAS behaves just like another computer sharing folders on the network, therefore no Internet access is needed for a Windows or Mac computer. The mobile apps will need to discover the device on the local network.
