Just bought an 18 TB My Book. When I clicked on the icon to load the software, it said WD Discovery successfully loaded. But after I registered to finish set up, I received fail messages when using WD Discovery to load “WD Drive Utilities” and “WD Security.” Any ideas on what I can do?

Try manually downloading WD Drive Utilities and WD Security from WD’s official website instead of using WD Discovery. Also, ensure WD Discovery is updated and running with admin privileges. If the issue persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling WD Discovery, then attempt the installation again. If that doesn’t work, check for any security software blocking the installation.
