Live Streaming or Hub for a Mac 10.8 (Mountain Lion) user?

I am planning on purchasing a WD media player and needed advice. If I am only a Mountain Lion Macbook pro user, which one should I get? 

As a former WD media player user, is there now a way to have moviesheets as part of the display as only a mac user? The last time I remember, it was only possible for a PC user using ThumbGen.
