With the 1.2 version, you need to use the up and down buttons of the remote to navigate between files one after the other.
You can use the left and right button to change column.
You need to modifiy some of the wall templates available for thumbgen and make their fanart transparent(reduce its opacity) to have a view like above

Btw you can get the same effect by using normal moviesheets, but placing the moviesheet BEHIND the description…
you can then reduce the opacity of the yellow box to around 50% which will not be so glaring on top of the moviesheet…
thats what i did with my list view…that way you dont need special moviesheet templates just normal wall ones work
ps after watching your video heres a little tip if the files are on internal drive of the hub
rate your dummy file / moviesheet 5 stars…then sort by rating v
the moviesheet will show first now
However if on Network drive you can still use the above method
or simply Sort by Rating ^ no need bother with hassle of rating all your dummy files / moviesheets

Yes, i used this method
but my hub crashed while modifying the xmls and i lost the settings after a reset.
It worked well.
But now, with the listview… because of the folder thumbnails being not so big.
I prefer not to use the rating method lol.
I like the effect of the big thumbnail showing on the screen after entering the folder. It’s nice lol!

Time, weather and etc. are now 1/2 in and out of view. Its probably overscan, but I don’t get this problem on other themes. Anyway, great job ! Is there something I can do with folder.jpg to make listview show cover as 1/2 screen ?
Yes, its overscan.
It works well on my Tv screen
You can change their position or resize it
by modifying the inc_timeGallery.xml
and the inc_weatherGallery.xml
now for the folder.jpg if we resize it and make it become bigger, it will become distorted.
I don’t know why but the hub does not scale folder thumbnails well, even with scale=100 scale_type=“fixratio” and selected_scale=100.
So it is not recommended.
But for the normal thumbnails, you can increase their size… it will appear bigger on the screen
I don’t mean to rain on anyone’s parade, but you have to remember that List view is the only cross medium view.
Anything you change in it will also effect the way you view photos and music in list view. Also, it will effect the Theme select view somewhat, I know that it shares the same lightbar.
