Hi All…I am using a WD My Passport 2TB Drive and would like to understand the light pattern on the product.

what does constant light mean ? what does blinking light mean ? and what does prolonged constant light with a blink mean. Any comments would be helpful.Thanks in advance…

LED Appearance Power State/Activity

On steady                                                                               Idle

Fast flashing, approximately 3 times per second          Activity

Slow flashing, approximately every 2.5 seconds           System standby
