Light on dim blue, then solid red

Hi I’m Jeremy, for the last couple months, I’ve been having trouble with MyCloud 6Tb, wherein the light is a faint solid blue and then after a few days goes solid Red. I’ve done the plugging/ unplugging, 40sec reset, and even switched out all cords minus the power adapter cord. The light just won’t go back to that brightly lit blue it once shown when it was newer. With this, I’m having trouble securing a snapshot of all my Data and I’m worried I’m going to loose all my videos a pictures of my young family for the last 8years…I do have a 1TB external WD HD, connected to the router as well… does anyone have any suggestions?
In the past I had the same problem and the light eventually went a solid red and after placing the first mycloud into an RNA all my Data was deemed unrecoverable. I was sent another mycloud. Hence this one now with issue… I’m scared by the first failure and can’t have another devastating repeat of total loss of all DATA!!! Please someone ADVISE???
