Lets Stop buying WD passport products from united Arab Emirates

A year before bought WD 4TB passport from Dubai nationwide Retail shop and recently hard Drive not getting initialize causing hardware failure

When contacted Retail shop and WD support center got a reply “We regret to inform you that Product replacement is unavailable in your selected country”

Even though device is under warranty from WD no alternative options provided rather throwing device in trash

Retail shop ask to check with WD customer support and Engineer from support center updated product replacement unavailable in UAE region

Tell the retail shop you did not buy from WD, its defective, replace it.

Retail Shop warranty is for 1 year and my passport become one year last February. But WD warranty is for 3 years
