Is there any indication as to if end users will ever see WD Black edition 2.5 inch drives in sizes of 5TB+ I have been waiting for so long now stuck with a 1.8 from another manufacturer for this to happen.
Is there some reason that 2.5" capacities arent increasing?

While development roadmaps for future products are not available to us Moderators, in terms of general technological advancements I believe for heat to be a concern with regards to high-performance, high-capacity 2.5" hard drives.
