Laptop won't connect to MyCloud remotely but iPhone is fine

My laptop connects perfectly OK on my home network but will not connect remotely, I have tried different remote networks and my iPhone connects perfectly both at home and remotely.

You’re using the My Cloud Desktop app, or the website?

in the Admin panel

  1. Click on the Cloud Access Menu on top
  2. Click the user on the left pane, whom needed the cloud access.
  3. If you are trying to connect through internet explorer or any other web browser, click on the ‘Get Code’ button under ‘MyCloud.com Account for’ option.
  4. If you are trying to connect through Windows application, click on the ‘Get Code’ button under the ‘Cloud devices for’ option.
  5. Try to login now.
