I have G Raid 12TB USB Drive and it just bothers me to no end as to why G-Technology has no way for raid drive users to visually monitor and check disks, space, raid config, etc. I am not up for removing drives, rebuilding raids, etc to check to see if I have a valid backup and chance of losing data. This is disappointing, to say the least. What were they thinking?
Hi @cragucci,
The G-RAID is a RAID 0 only device. G-RAID is set in a hardware RAID 0 for high performance and capacity. The G-RAID is not recommended for use as a backup drive due to that RAID 0 does not provide any form of redundancy.

I know that my drive is configured in RAID 1. There is still no way to safely check drives without removing them and checking.
