Lack of support and/or scam with warranty?

In 4th November 2025 an Advanced RMA was approved (RAM 2426909). After several weeks I eventually get a replacement harddrive, but this opened up other issues!

  1. HD was manufactured on the 6th January 2024 (2 years ago)

  2. Warranty now expires in less than 90 days?

  3. Still no refund on Advance RMA fee ($25)

  4. No reply from support to emails as case closed?

It is obvious that WD is abandoning their customer base just to cash in on the AI bubble and everything now goes to data centers.

Same experience here. I am replying to your post only to keep WD’s forum from auto-expiring your message (2m after the last reply).

This deserves to be bumped to the top of the feed daily. The warranty is fraudulent at best.
