I have just acquired a mycloud mirror and a minix player with Kodi. I am looking for tips on how to best configure my NAS in order to fully maximize the experience of kodi (such as movie contents etc).

Not really anything to do. Just needs to have shares that are read/writable to the Kodi client.
It can be read only if you’re not needing Kodi to store extra artwork on the share…
thanks tony. i have accessed mycloud through SMB in Kodi it works just fine…
