Just found a limit... when adding network folders

Hey, just found a limit… when adding folders

The WD Live SMP has a maximum number of Folders that you can connect to across a network. I was re-organizing my Movies on the 3x WD NAS and decided I have enough CRIME movies to create a specific CRIME Folder. After the trying to connect the SMP to the new CRIME folder, I got a Warning stating that I have reached the limit of Folder connections (I did not count but it must be around 20 ish…)

Anyone hit that limit yet or know of a setting to get around the issue…

Cheers LB

No, there is no limit to the number of FOLDERS you can have.

There is a limit to the number of SHARES to which you can connect.

The simplest fix is to not have so many shares.

Just create one share, called for example, “Media”, and put all your “folders” in that share.
