Finally.
Do we get any performance improvement using Jumbo frames?
Enable/disable jumbo frames, using link aggregation and other tricks don’t help at all to improve write/read performance so far…
Ideas?
on my networks with mostly Mac’s I get terrible performance w/ Jumbo frames.
With PC on my network I get no real improvement. I turned it off.
What’s weird, is Mac to Mac over SMB2 protocol and I get full Gb at over 100 MB/s transfer speed
SMB2 protocol is enabled on my EX4 which supports automatic sizing of packets and it’s still a dog. Chalking it up to bad software on the EX4 ( again )
I enabled SMB2 and still no improvements so far.
3 days to copy 3TB. this is very anonying.
