JBOD - Show individual free disk space via the admin web page?

I can ssh in and see via the commonline, but is there a way to see individual free disk space via the web page?

You can go in Disk Status and verify the available space on each drive.

For more info check page 81 on the user’s manual:

http://www.wdc.com/wdproducts/library/UM/ENG/4779-705113.pdf#page=86

If I’m seeing it right, that screen only tells about the total available disk space on each volume.

It does NOT tell how much of that total space is currently free.

Where can we see that information?

If I recall correctly, in JBOD mode, you can only have one volume per disk.   So they should be the same, no?

…or did you leave unallocated space on the disk?

The dashboard displays the disks unused capacity, not available space. I think the OP is asking how to see how much space is free on each disk at the moment.

I don’t know that the UI can.

But the client computers can…  Just map the share and it’ll tell you how much space is available.

In JBOD mode, without quotas, the share has the full access to the volume, and the volume is the full size of the disk.
