iTunes and iPhoto update question

Hey guys! I apologize if this has been answered elsewhere in the forum but I did do a search and could find an answer for a simpleton like me.

My question is, how does one update the My Book Live with the newly added songs in iTunes and new photos added to iPhoto? I can do it manually but there has go to be a better way? I tried doing the rescan thing but it never adds the new songs.

How do you add the photos? I have had no luck there.

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If you setup a backup with Time Machine or Smartware it will auto update both of them.

iPhotos is not supported with any firmware on the My Book Live.

What about adding new music in iTunes?
