Issues updating firmware - upgrade option not available

Hi there,

Has anyone tried updating their firmware with the latest release 1.01.77??

I followed the instructions - downloaded the zip folder, extracted then saved on my portable harddrive in the root folder, plugged it into the HD Media player and went to Settings but there was no menu to ‘upgrade’.

I had a look in all the menus but couldn’t find any other options that it could possibly be.

Anyone done this successfully?? Or am I doing something wrong??

Most likely you’re looking at the wrong package.  There are TWO, one for the “Gen 1” and one for the “Gen 2”.

Make sure you’re in the right place.
