Hi. I am having trouble with Plex on my iPhone and connecting to my WD Passport as a Plex server. Connected directly on the WD WiFi. iPad works perfectly. Any assistance much appreciated!
I have other problems with the Plex on the unit from files being missing, etc.
But for iPad, it may show that it can’t find it but if you retry, it tends to find it. Make sure you have the right IP address for the drive… if you’re connected to your drive and that connects to your router at home, you have to use the IP address assigned by your router to your drive instead.
