Hello WD Community members!
I am currently using a MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch)
2.8 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5
8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Big Sur 11.0.1
My CloudHome is plugged using CAT6 ethernet cable to the router.
I could not use the WD Desktop version after installing it.
After updating and installing the WD installer, there appears a ‘My Cloud Home’ shortcut on the finder at the left. I could access my files on My Cloud Home for only about 15mins before it shows an error and i lose connection with the folder and it shows as zero bytes.
Even though i can still access MyCloudHome through the web portal, but it is alot more convenient to have it right at the desktop.
I had tried reinstalling it but the same disconnection happens after 15-20mins.
How do i ensure I can always access the finder folder always rather than having to log into the web portal everytime?
