Issue with Mac formatted external HD

Hello, I know this question has been asked and I did read the previous solutions. But I’m still having issues.

I’m trying to use a Mac formatted external HD with my new WDTV (it’s the newest generation) and I read here I had to turn off journaling, which I did, through disk utility, clicked on the partition on the disk and disabled Journaling.

But even after doing that, I still get a “no media found” when I connect my HD to the WDTV. 

Am I doing something wrong?

If turning off journaling did not fix it, you may try reformatting the drive.  Before reformatting make sure to transfer any important data back to the computer.
