A greeting to the community from a new member.
I’m about to buy a WD 6TB - My Book (WDBBGB0060HBK-EESN) to use it with my Linux pc (Debian and Ubuntu).
I’m used to using WD Elements 4TB with Linux, and I’ve never encountered any problems.
I’m worried about “password protection and hardware encryption” in the WD My Book. Can I avoid using it with Linux? Will I encounter problems with Linux?
