Please recommend Windows (10) built-in utility that reports the ;status (or diagnostic) of an SSD external drive.
For example, do chkdsk, wmic or diskpart provide reliable status for the SSD media (Example “my passport”)
For backup purposes, is HDD more suitable than SSD drive?
In case of Partitioning SSD media into multiple partitions, does a “catastrophic” failure in one partition implies total loss of all partitions?
