Just got a My Passport 1.5TB Hard Drive version WDBY8L0015BBK-NESN. I know its formatted in NTFS. I connected to my TV via USB, put my TV on the media channel but nothing appeared. I waited about 2 minutes and unplugged. Saw an option to reformat in exfat but read somewhere it wont work. Does anyone have a solution to this ? Thanks in advance ?

Verify with the TV manual what format does the drive needs to have to work on your TV
most likely FAT32
If that’s the case use a tool like Swiss Knife
also verify if the TV supports the drive capacity
