Is there an alternative IOS app to MyCloud

That will allow access to my video files (MKV) on WD MyCloud storage device over the internet ?  I have playerExtreme which is a good app and plays the file over LAN but I want to be able to access and play my video files in most formats from my device over the internet. 

As the MyCloud app does not support MKV, is there a better alternative ?

I don’t believe MKV files are supported on Apple devices. You should consider converting it something that Apple supports.

I can play MKV files on my I devices just not though the Mycloud app.
