Is there a way to recognize a WD Elements as a possible Backup Drive in WD Backup?

Bought a really big WD Elements drive to use as a backup not knowing its the Passport drives that default as a backup drive, I can’t return it now as it’s been too long, I was wondering if there was a way I could trick the WD Backup software to register that as a possible backup drive?

I just manually backup all my data … no tricks required.

i suppose you could search for 3rd party software to do it if you prefer ‘automated’ backup.
