Is my USB stick compatible?

Hi,

I’m planning to purchase a WDTV Live Media Player within the next few days, and I was wondering whether my Busbi 16GB USB stick would be compatible with the device?

Thanks,

Chris

If it is a stock standard flash drive it should be.  Why would you ask?

I have half a dozen 16Gb flash drives of varying makes - they are ALL compatible and a couple of 32Gb and a couple of 64Gb…

ALL compatible.

What is different about YOUR flash drive?

He asked because he was curious.

If you read around, you will see there is various opinions and complaints regarding the WDTV Live SMPs compatibility with USB 3.0.

OP - I’ve read mixed reviews regarding USB 3.0, but it seems to work for most. You should be fine as brand shouldn’t play a factor. As cheap as USB sticks are, you won’t have any trouble finding a USB stick  that will work if you current one doesn’t work. I had these same concerns before I purchased a WDTV, and it works great with all of my USB sticks.

Best Regards.

It would be difficult to give any answer because there are a number of Busbi 16GB sticks.
