My hard drive has recently been making a weird noise coming from it, sounds like a grinding or farting king of noise. it only happens when the drive is being accessed such as downloading a game or whatnot. How big is that hard drive? That level of noise is normal for 8TB units by design.
If it’s 6TB or lower you may want to run a health test using WD Data Lifeguard Diagnostics.
