Just wondering if a 2TB version is on its way?
If not is it easy for a 2TB memory upgrade?
No, there’s not a 2TB 2.5" HDD. WD nor anyone else makes a 2.5" 2TB drive.
And no, this is not a PC and you can’t do memory upgrades on it.
Just to add, the one you are talking about is hard disk not memory. The hub’s memory are indeed not upgradable because it is built-in the mainboard. The hard disk on the other hand is replaceable but not yet upgradable. It can be replaced as long as it is 2.5" SATA HDD and made by WD. But as previously mentioned, there is no 2TB 2.5" SATA HDD yet so as for now, you can’t upgrade. But when it becomes available, you can easily upgrade it.
Don’t know if the image is a fake, but WD might be releasing the 2TB Passport sometime this year, so it might be in the plans to release a 2TB Live Hub, but who knows when. :smiley:
