I recently purchased two My Passport portable storage drives. My plan is to use one on the odd number months and the other on the even number months. Taking the one not being used to another location other than my home (in case of catastrophic loss at home). I have discovered that I have to create two separate backup plans and I have done that successfully. What I would like to do is
… name the drives something like “My Passport Odd” and “My Passport Even” so that I don’t get totally confused when switching the drives and turning on and off the correct backup plan.Is it possible to rename the devices in the WD software? And if so, how?
