Is It Possible to Access My Drives Internal File System

So, that title is probably extremely confusing. I know I can access the files on my hard drives in my WD My Cloud drive, but I’m wondering if I can access its OS files. I don’t want to edit them. I just want to copy a specific file to my PC.

Apologies if this has been answered before. Every search I made to try to answer this question only returned threads only explaining how to access the hard drives files.

Have you looked at the User Manual?
User Manual: My Cloud Home and My Cloud Home Duo (westerndigital.com)

Did you search in the Knowledge Base?

I haven’t looked at that user manual. I have looked at the one for my device. It explains how I can access the files on my hard drives in my WD My Cloud drive, but not how I can access its OS files.

As for the Knowledge Base, I haven’t searched in it specifically. I’ve used Google and DuckDuckGo to search for how to access my NAS’s OS files, without success.

This is the subforum for My Cloud Home therefore the posters here assume you have that device.
There is a dedicated subforum for the EX2 here:

Should I delete this post and make it there?
