I’m using external drive 5tb as storage attached to 24/7 home linux server and I’m not sure if it’s healthier to disable spindow or let it spin up/down about 6 times a day?

I believe it is better to allow the drive to go to sleep when it is not in use. But you can confirm this by contacting WD support.
