iOS My Cloud mobile app access removed

A couple of weeks ago I had no problems accessing my My Cloud device and all backup files that were on it from my iPhone. Today I opened the My Cloud mobile app and it would not connect to the My Cloud device. It says that steps have been taken to secure my data with changes that removes access to my backups. After going through all the steps it seems like this app is now useless and I can not get remote access to my files.

This seems a bit strange as this is a major function of this devise. The purpose of the My Cloud is to not only backup devises but to access those files from anywhere.

Does anyone know if there is a solution for this and if not is there one being worked on?
