After formatting my lappie, I re installed WD Smartware with the latest updates but its link is not visible anywhere on my desktop, downloads, start menu and therefore I am not able to retreive my back up. Please help
Uninstall it from the control panel and then install it again, plus you can just manually restore the backup without Smartware. Just copy the swstor folder on your drive to your computer since it holds the files.

Thanx for the help. BTW, where is the swstor folder in my passport?
Just inside the passport, you should see a smartware.swstor folder right away if you use a recent version of smartware o.o

I reinstalled My Passport and am having the same problem. Is there some serious damage?
