Do the players have the capability to interupt the TV (lets say we have Fox news palying) and run a 30 second ad we have on a usb drive or loaded into the playe they return to normal TV mode?
No way to really do this easily as the WDHub would be on a different input on your TV. You would have to have your TV running, then switch inputs on the TV to the HUB, navigate to the video you wanted, play it, and then have your TV change inputs back to your broadcast or cable input. Not very convenient.
I’d say you need a different solution.
