Hi, i’m just wondering about streaming videos & photos from mycloud , if i watch a movie that stored on mycloud via the home network does it consume from ADSL quota
Generally no, so long as you are NOT going through the MyCloud.com web portal or otherwise accessing the My Cloud in remote fashion. Typically using a file manager like Windows File Explorer or Mac Finder accesses the My Cloud through your local network not through the broadband connection.
One instance where you would consume broadband data is if your mobile device, like a smartphone, is using a cellular connection to access the My Cloud and not a local WiFi connection.
