Internal backup job fails, how to find error?

Dear All,

I created a internal backup job, and it just fails a few seconds after starting.
The obvious issues like out of space and access rights were checked.

Any idea how to find a log file to check the error?

Secondly, anyone got an idea to see the free space on a volume without ssh?
