I’m on a macbook trying to install my brand new WD cloud, however the software is stuck at “Checking your device”.
Any suggestions on how to get past this stage?

Make sure that the unit is properly connected and that the device is within the same network.
Thanks for your reply, however that is not the issue.
I can actually access the drive thru finder and am able to transfer files.
It is only the software i am unable to load.
