Is anyone could help to understand, how to install software on wdmycloud with firmware v3? I downgrade my wdmycloud with a hope it could make things easier but looks like it’s not :.
In fact, I want to find some way to install nodejs to wdmycloud.
But the available firmware versions available for WD My Cloud are under 2.X or 04.X.
Initially the first generation My Cloud units came with v3.x firmware. One can find past firmware links here:

Anyone can explain, is it possible to install soft from other repositories to v3.x? I can’t understand how to install something. Gcc is unavailable and much other problems… :
