I just bought a G-Raid with Thuderbolt, but realized I don’t have the Thunderbolt port and had to use the USB port. I can’t find an install file and nothing is popping up. How can I get this thing installed and up and running? I connected it into my surface pro 3 docking station via usb and am operating with windows 10. Any tips are welcomed. I already restarted both devices while connected and nothing.
All G-Tech products are formatted for Mac only out of the box. As such they don’t show up in normal locations in Windows.
Download and install then run this: Windows Format Wizard
After you have done that the drive will show up as a usable drive in your Explorer like usual.
