Install Guide step by Step Needed for G Raid on IMAC

Hi,

Recently i bough a G- Raid Thunderbolt (Removable) storage. but i facing some trouble on the installing in IMAC on version 10.11.6. Is that any install video or post here i can follow?

I tried to copy my file to the storage but i couldn’t find my backup file. i currently also don’t know is my file is it backup under Raid 1.

Installation of the device goes no further than plugging the drive in to your computer and turning it on. At that point the drive will mount on your Desktop and/or in the Finder under the Devices section. You can then use it as storage.

If you want to use it as a backup device for Time Machine then you will need to enter the Time Machine preferences and select the drive.
