Initial setup of dashboard yields wdmycloud's server DNS address could not be reached

Hi, just sat down to finally setup our My Cloud device. When I go to http://wdmycloud to get started I get the message “wdmycloud’s server DNS address could not be reached”. The setup article suggested that if I have connection issues to try the 40 second reset, which I did but did not change the result. We are using a Windows 10 desktop, a Google WiFi Router - OnHub AC1900 and our modem is an Arris Surfboard SB6141. Also using a basic 5 port ethernet switch to connect the MyCloud device since the Google OnHub router only has 1 output port for ethernet.

Any ideas?

Have you tried to access the My Cloud by it’s IP address?
